Are you changing your self image?

“What is opportunity, and when does it knock? It never knocks. You can wait a whole lifetime, listening, hoping, and you will hear no knocking. None at all. You are opportunity, and you must knock on the door leading to your destiny. You prepare yourself to recognize opportunity, to pursue and seize opportunity as you develop the strength of your personality, and build a self-image with which you are able to live / with your self-respect alive and growing.” ~ Maxwell Maltz

This week we have talked about self image, self esteem, and self worth. Your self image will determine your self esteem and your sense of self worth.

If there are things about your life that you are not satisfied with you may want to look at how you see yourself. If you find that you suffer from low self esteem and/or self worth do something about it.

It is your choice to simply accept the lack in your life or cultivate the life you want to live. Use the tips you have learned this week to start the process of changing the way you see you and your life will change accordingly.

Do not simply accept what I have put in my posts, search and research the subjects that you feel you need improvement in. There are many different viewpoints and techniques on any subject. Find one that feel good to you and practice it with positive expectations and persistence.

You can change your life if you will only cultivate the courage and set your intention to better your life. When you start changing you may find that those around you will not be as supportive as you would like.

Those people will not be vindictive. They will not have something against you. They will probably think that they have your best interests at heart. Others seem to feel that they know what is best for us better than we do, especially if they are family and close friends.

Do not let them hold you back. Do not react in anger, do not react at all. Just be polite and continue to do what you are doing. Only you are responsible for your life.

It is your responsibility and obligation to make the best of the life you have been given. As the Army recruitment add says, “Be all that you can be.”

Dream lofty dreams or as the saying goes, “In your endeavors shoot  for the moon and if you happen to miss and fall among starts, remember you are still on high ground.”

It is your birthright to have all that you will allow in your life. Believe that you are worthy and deserve the best. You do!

TODAY’S TIP: Don’t short change yourself. Do whatever you need to do to make your life one of peace, love and prosperity.

Are you rich?
