Did you find your dream?
“Keep your heart open to dreams. For as long as there’s a dream, there is hope, and as long as there is hope, there is joy in living.” ~ Anonymous
I hope this week has inspired you to take a look at your dreams. If you have no dreams, I hope it has caused you to ask yourself why not and re-visit your past to recall those dreams you had as a child and young adult.
I hope you believe that you are the creator of your reality and can create any dream that the mind can see and believe. Life is a journey of unlimited possibilities and you can choose the ones you want.
Earlier this week someone left a comment and mentioned their fear as a factor in keeping them from achieving their dream. Fear takes many forms, but the bottom line is the same.
We are born with fear, the fear of the unknown. As we leave the birth womb we are traveling to a place unknown. We have fear. The fear of the unknown.
That is what fear is all about, the unknown. We think about our dreams and we have never gone there before. The fear sets in, the fear of the unknown. We may fail, we may not be good enough, or a thousand other unknowns.
The fear is part of the challenges of life. Since we all have fear it is not extraordinary. We must learn to overcome the fear. Most people do not. They live life afraid to take charge of their lives. Many let others take their power and tell them how they should live.
We, each one of us, know how we should live. We know what is best for us. The challenge is having the courage to follow the guidance that is given us through intuition.
When we are given a dream, we already haveĀ everything we need to make that dream a reality. However, many times this is when that loud voice inside of us starts telling us all the problems that could happen as a result of us trying to make that dream come true.
That voice can come up with a thousand reasons why we should not attempt to realize the dream. We must realize that that voice is our ego talking. For most of us our ego takes pleasure in our failure. The ego wants to control and if it feels that our realizing our dream will take control it will do what it can to sabotage us.
There is a small inner voice that will help us with our quest. In order to hear that voice we must silence the ego voice. This takes faith, courage, and persistence.
Next week we will talk about opening up to the flow of life and getting in tune with our intuition.
TODAY’S TIP: Make a plan on how you will overcome the fear. There are many tools available. Find the ones that will help you.
Are you ready to dream?
