Do you daydream?

Daydreaming can be very productive. It all depends on whether your daydreams are of a possible future or fantasies which will never be. Become aware of what your mind spends time picturing;

It is your choice what you think of, although to many it seems that they have no control over their thoughts. In order to have control one must take control. The ego does not want you to believe that you control your thoughts. The more you don’t believe it the more control the ego has.

The best way to gain control over ego is meditation. Daily practice of meditation will, in time, give you control over ego and your thoughts. If you are just starting to meditation it is not easy. The ego will fight you at first. How long it will fight will depend on how determined you are.

With persistence and regularity through meditation you will overcome the resistance of the ego. Once the ego is convinced that you are serious it will begin to cooperate with you. It is at this point that you will see magnificent changes beginning to take place in your life.

Meditation will also help you establish the discipline to work on the art of creative daydreaming. Abraham speaks of your daily workshop. In this workshop you simply see your future as you want it to be. Spending 10 or 15 minutes visualizing your future will help bring that future into your reality.

In your workshop you will see yourself in future situations and experience those situations in the most positive scenarios. You will see, hear, smell, feel, and taste the situation. Use all your senses and put emotion into the scene. The more emotions you feel the sooner the manifestation.

Then you will assume the attitude in your daily life that your future is assured. Act as though it has already happened. You do this by portraying confidence in your daily actions. Keep your posture erect and your head held high.

With this attitude you will put forth the energy to take care of yourself, body and soul. Eat foods to enhance your physical health. Exercise to maintain energy levels and proper weight.

With this attitude you will be surprised how differently people will react to you. Of course you are not going to go out and spend money that you don’t have because you know you will have it. You can however spend that money in your daydreams and feel the joy that you will feel when you are able to do it in your reality.

TODAY’S TIP: Use your daydreaming ability several times a day to go through your workshop. You already have that which you seek.
