Do you feel good?

“The vortex through which your well-being flows is within you, it is vibrationally felt by you, it is – if you are wanting to put your finger on it, it is right in your solar plexus where your emotional center is. And so reclaim it. Make the statement and mean it: Nothing is more important than that I feel good. Thought by thought, moment by moment, I’m going to open my valve and let the good times roll. There is just one thing that you have to remember: It is good to feel good. It is good to feel good.” ~ Abraham, 3/8/03 – San Francisco

As long as we maintain the attitude that we have the right and it is our responsibility to feel good, we are going in the right direction. As long as we feel good we are doing what we are supposed to be doing.

When we feel good, we not only are doing something for ourselves, but we are being of service to those around us. Just as laughter is contagious, so is feeling good.

Have you ever noticed that when you are around someone who is down in the dumps, you often begin to feel bad. When you are around someone who is bubbly and upbeat you also feel good.

This is why we are told to stay away from the chronic complainers and others who make us uncomfortable. They are sometimes called physic vampires because they drain us of our energy.

With all the negativity around it is often very difficult to remain upbeat and positive. However, with determination and purpose there are tools you can use to keep feeling good.

One simple thing you can do when you are feeling down is to imagine a ball of golden energy in the center of your chest. See that ball expanding and filling up your being. Let it fill all parts of your body and fell that golden glow as it travels though out your body.

Another technique to use is to think of something in your past that made you feel extremely happy. Relive that experience in your mind. See it as it was, smell the smells associated with the event. Hear whatever sounds were heard then and taste any tastes that were present.

With these two techniques you will notice that the longer you experience them the better you will feel. There are other things you can do to feel good. Find something that works for you and practice it.

When you awake in the morning, tell yourself that you are going to feel good that day and you are not going to let anything rent space in your head. It is only when you react to something that happens to you that you run the risk of having things work out not to your liking.

TODAY’S TIP: In any situation take a deep breath before deciding what course of action you will take.
