Is positive self talk important?

This week we have discussed positive self talk. As we have seen the importance of positive self talk cannot be overstated. We are what we think and our world is shaped by what we think.
If we are continually voicing negative thoughts in our minds, the world around us will be negative. If however we fill or minds with positive self talk our world will reflect those thoughts and we can shape our own personal reality to reflect a reality that is one we desire. One that will allow us to live our lives in peace and harmony.
Have you not noticed that people who are negative and always complaining never run out of things to complain about. While people who are upbeat and positive seem to live charmed lives. This is the power of our thoughts.
Look around you. Is your life what you would have it be? If not perhaps it is because of the negative thoughts that you are permitting to dominate your mind. Take a look at your thoughts and start today to begin converting those negative thoughts to positive ones.
Using the three tools that we have talked about in the last few weeks can result in you cultivating the life that you have dreamed about.
I am sure that you have heard many times that you create your reality. Whether you create it consciously or allow chance or fate to create it for you is your choice.
I do not know if you truly believe that you create your reality but that is something you must decide for yourself. All I can say is that whether you believe it or not is not the most important thing. The most important thing is that you want to believe it.
If you do not believe it, but want to, you can still create the reality you want. If you will act as though you believe it and practice believing it, using the three tools, you will believe it.
You will believe it because the repetition of your practice and the result you will see will, “make a believer out of you.”
Begin immediately to put together a program of meditation, visualization, and positive self talk. To become consistent with such a program may require some effort on your part, but I can assure you it will be worth the effort.
TODAY’S TIP: Have faith that you will one day live the life that you desire, practice living that life and it will become your reality.
