What are you allowing?

This week we will take a look at what some would consider the most important law involving the Law of Attraction. That is the Law of Allowing. This is where most of us get stuck in trying to utilize the Law of Attraction.

Many of us go through the steps of manifestation. We ask and concentrate on the picture in our mind of what it will be like when we have achieved our desires. We even set aside time each day to visualize our desired outcome.

Unfortunately nothing happens, so we say that The Law of Attraction does not work for us. It may be that there is something within us that is preventing us from achieving success.

As part of our societal programing or conditioning many of us have grown up feeling that we somehow are lacking. We have been conditioned to feel that we are unworthy and do not deserve the things we want in our life because it is selfish. Many of us suffer from low self-esteem and have taken on an attitude of victimization.

Society seems to encourage us to remain in a state of victimization as a way of excusing our shortcomings. We blame others, our family or our loved ones. We say that we come from dysfunctional families and therefore we must be dysfunctional.

Some of us spend much of our lives in therapy, where we are mostly given permission to blame other people and circumstance and not take responsibility for our lives.

How long are our parents responsible for us? Even if thay abused us, does that give us the right to blame them for our failures as adults? When are we to gather the courage to take responsibility for our lives and use our power to make our lives what we chose them to be.

These attitude of blame and lack of self-esteem must be overcome before the Law of Attraction can work for us. We must know without a shadow of a doubt that we deserve to have all that we want in life.

When we get to the place that we can ask and know that it is already ours, then we will be able to manifest more that we could ever dream of.

This week as you read my posts take time to reflect on how you feel about yourself. Try to discover those inner feelings that are blocking you from achieving your ideal life.

TODAY’S TIP: Take some quiet time each day to reflect on your life. Notice where you have been and where you are going. If you are not going where you want to go, alter your course.
