What did you do with your dream?

“Believe in your dreams and they may come true; believe in yourself and they will come true” ~ Self-esteem quotes.

We all have had many dreams as we grew up. Some of us wanted to be policemen, as I did, others wanted to be nurses or firemen. At an early age our dreams were from people we looked up to. Some of us wanted to be like our fathers or mothers. Early in our life we were very impressionable and romanticized our heroes.

As we grew older our dreams changed. We wanted to be doctors or lawyers. Our dreams started to become more realistic. We started to think about what we really wanted to do with our lives.

For many of us life started to get in the way of our dreams. We had to take on the tasks of day to day living. Some of us tucked those dreams into the corner of our minds as we shrived to make a living and take care of families.

What did you do with your dream? Is it still sulking around somewhere in your mind or buried so deeply that you no longer remember it?

For all who have unfulfilled dreams; when are you going to make them come true? I suggest that it is time to dust off those dreams and start working on manifesting them. It is never too late.

We were given dreams for a reason. That reason was to create our life so as to be the most enjoyable life for us. We were meant to be happy. We were given everything we need to fulfill our dreams and live our life in abundance and contentment.

Just remember, you still can. you still can make those dreams come true. All you have to do is brush them off and start from where you are. Set you intention that you will realize your dreams.

Then figure out what you need to make them come true and put together a plan of action that will lead you to getting what you need. Ask your Universe to show you the way.

If you cannot see beyond a certain point, do not lose hope. As Robert Carlyle said, “Go as far as you can see, when you get there you will see how to go further.”

Also keep in mind that the glory is not in the destination, but in the journey. The effort will be well worth it as long as you can see progress. Celebrate the little success along the way. You are worth it and you deserve it, so go for it.

This week we will talk about our unfulfilled dreams and how to get back in touch with them.

TODAY’S TIP: Sit quietly with yourself and remember the dreams you had years ago. Ask yourself if you still would like to make them a reality. If yes, start working on them.

Are you ready to dream again?

Well said, thank you! This really hits home to me as I’ve recently realized that it is time to dust off the dreams and also make some new ones. The biggest part for me is not being afraid any longer to go after them!
