What is your pain?
“The truth is that we can learn to condition our minds, bodies, and emotions to link pain or pleasure to whatever we choose. By changing what we link pain and pleasure to, we will instantly change our behaviors.” ~ Tony Robbins ~
Yesterday we talked about the pollution in our homes. Today I want to talk about our personal pollution. What do I mean?
If we could see the pollution in the air, and sometimes we can, we notice that it is dark, sometimes black. In the world of energy this would be negative energy. The negative energy in our bodies is pollution.
All negative emotions and negative thoughts pollute our bodies. It is heavy and weights us down. All illness begins with negative thoughts and emotions. It happens when we hold on to those emotions and become obsessed with the negative thoughts.
Many of us hold on to the negative emotions that began early in our life. The traumas of childhood, of broken relationships, and other disappointments of life. Holding on to these emotions pollute our bodies and poison our minds.
The place to start removing pollution is in our bodies. Ridding ourselves of the garbage we have accumulated in the course of our lives is the best thing we can do for ourselves and those around us.
I have often had people ask me how they can help someone else. First of all you cannot help someone who does not want to help themselves. The only thing you can do is work on your own self improvement.
You must be the role model to those you are hoping to help. It may be that when others see you walk your talk it will encourage them to make changes in their life.
Gratitude and forgiveness are the two tools that will enable you to cleanse your body of those negative thoughts and emotions that are preventing you from your full expression and enjoyment of life.
Realizing that as adults we are completely responsible for our lives is the place to start. Looking around you and see all the things you have to be thankful for. No matter how hard life is there is always things to be thankful for. It is all a matter of perception.
As the saying goes, “is your glass half empty or half full?” The more you concentrate on your troubles the more troubles you will have. L:earn to be grateful and the more you will find to be grateful for.
Then Release and forgive all the negativity you are holding on to. Bless yourself and tell you that you love you. Set your intention the see the positive side of life and you will become a part of that positive side.
Whether you believe in re-incarnation or not, you are only living this life once. Why not enjoy it as much as you can. Love life and life will love you.
TODAY’S TIP: Before going to bed at night find ten things that happened that day to be thankful for. You will cultivate an attitude of gratitude and your life will be good.
What is your pleasure?
