When are you going to start?
“Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” ~ Carl Bard ~
Well, it’s TGIF. People are looking forward to the weekend. Time to relax and revitalize for the coming week.
This weekend do something a little different. While you are relaxing and enjoying your weekend take some time to reflect on your life. Have you been procrastinating about some things in your life?
It may be things that you have been meaning to do around the house, someone you have been meaning to get in touch with, or to start taking the steps that will lead you in the direction of your dreams.
Whatever is is, focus your intention on getting started today, not tomorrow, but today. You can put things off indefinitely and the more you put them off the more indefinite they become.
There is no time like the present. In order to achieve you must begin. Use affirmations to stay focused on the task. Tell yourself that you will do what you need to do that day to move closer to your dream.
Look into your eyes in a mirror and tell yourself what you are going to accomplish that day. Repeat it several times. Also use affirmations to keep on track with your long range goals.
Use visualizations to aid in your quest. See yourself doing what you need to do to move closer to your dream. First thing in the morning don’t just think about what you have to do that day, see it. Just as you visualize your long term goals visualizing your daily goals help keep your focus.
The more you keep your goal in mind the easier it will be to make it your reality. What you think about most is what you will manifest. That is how the law of attraction works.
Find an accountability partner. It may be a spouse, a friend or just someone who is willing to participate in motivating and holding each other accountable. If you don’t know anyone, look around and find someone who is in the same situation you are in.
The key to achieving success in manifesting your dreams is to structure your days to be conducive to progress. Do not be concerned if some days you make great strides and other days you take baby steps.
As long as you can look back on your day and see some progress you can be proud of yourself. Of course there will be days when it seems that you accomplished nothing. On these days determine why you had the results you had and let it be a lesson for the future. Do not beat up on yourself.
The most important thing is to enjoy the journey. If you are not feeling good about what you are doing perhaps it is not what you should be doing.
TODAY’S TIP: Allow yourself to be guided by your emotions and how you feel. If it doesn’t feel good emotionally and your are wearing yourself down physically, stop and do something else.
How was your progress today?
